PUMPKIN PATCH

We took a trip to POWERS farm and visited the pumpkin patch, the animals and took a hayride. Haley hasn't been feeling well so it was a good way to end our otherwise quiet and sleepy weekend.

Kicking off Fall

Last weekend we spent the weekend in Syracuse celebrating (a belated) 35th Wedding Anniversary for Mike's parents.  Mike's brother and sister came, we got babysitters and spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon doing wine tour on the Finger Lakes.  It was a fun weekend.
Marm and Parm 35 years of marriage!!

Brothers: Mike and Adam

We also checked out a Liverpool football game. They haven't played a home game in 2 years as they were building their new stadium. Mike had fun reminiscing about his "younger" years.  Haley had fun looking at all the people although she did not enjoy sitting in the crowd so we hung out by the fence on the track.

This Thursday marked the beginning of fall, (Daddy couldn't be happier as it is his favorite season) and we are looking forward to taking Haley to pick out her pumpkins in the very near future!

Back to School!

Haley and Mommy have gone "back to school".  Haley is going back to her daycare sitter (which she is quite happy about) and Sara has gone back to teaching (which she has mixed feelings about).  Regardless, we spent our last summer weekend spending time with family (Haley stayed in Syracuse for a weekend with Grandma and Grampa J.) and we went to Portsmouth, NH for wedding of a good friends.

We are happy we have the first week behind us and are looking forward to spending a quiet weekend at home.

Good friends, John and Lisa, congrats on their marriage!

On Haley's "gestational birthday" we celebrated her turning 1 with cupcake ice- cream, she LOVED it!!
